Who We Are

The Grange Festival is an arts charity which presents an exceptionally dynamic programme of opera, dance, and concerts each summer. Held in one of the most celebrated neo-classical mansions in Britain, surrounded by a stunning countryside landscape, the Festival welcomes audiences from far and wide for awe-inspiring experiences of beauty, connection and artistic excellence.

A visit to The Grange Festival contrasts to the sometimes-frantic rush of theatregoing in cities by offering an expansive, renewing experience centred on connection and celebration. Our intimate RIBA Award-winning theatre provides an unparalleled sense of closeness to the performers and superb acoustics from every seat.

We encourage you to come early and stay late, and our long interval dining options offer a range of experiences in our restaurant, marquees, private pavilions or under the open sky.

As an impact-led charity we ensure we are maximising our effectiveness by continually improving our processes and outcomes, for the good of our audiences, artists, communities and supporters. In addition to our annual Festival we run community events, educational programmes in schools across Hampshire, and initiatives for talent development.

We collaborate with other organisations, across our region and internationally, to extend and amplify our impact, including partnerships with English Heritage, Hampshire Music Service, the University of Winchester and the Bournemouth Symphony Orchestra.
