Why your donation matters
As a charity, The Grange Festival is able to claim 25% on top of your donations, through Gift Aid if you are UK Taxpayer. To make your ticket money work to our best advantage, we split the cover price into two parts: one part is the base ticket price which includes VAT and the second part is a suggested donation. The base ticket price is the minimum amount you are required to pay in order to be admitted to the show. Anything you wish to donate over and above this will be treated as a Gift Aidable donation should you be a UK taxpayer. The donation element ranges between £13.50 and £103.50 per ticket; approximately 45% of the whole ticket value. Box Office income only covers around half of outgoings each year and the donations received through ticket sales help us to put on productions of the highest possible quality for our audiences. We therefore request that the suggested donations are included when possible, and are truly grateful for all donations given with each ticket. We are legally bound, however, to point out that the donation element is optional. If you wish to discuss this further, please contact the Box Office on 01962 791020.
