Please join us for Joseph Losey’s sumptuous film of Mozart’s Don Giovanni, maybe the most admired grand opera film ever made, in the luxurious Screening room of the Soho Hotel.
Set among the Venetian glass furnaces of Murano and the Villa La Rotonda in Vicenza this is as moving and beautiful as any live performance. With a huge screen and surround-sound Kiri Te Kanawa, Teresa Berganza, José Van Dam and Ruggiero Raimondi will have you in their thrall as we watch this tale of a playboy blazing the path to his own destruction in a single action-filled day.
We will take our seats at 6.30pm with a drink in hand to hear Sir Thomas Allen talk about the role which he has performed around the globe to such acclaim. An interval will be the opportunity for refreshments and substantial bowl food before we take our seats for the second half of the film.
Tickets are £80, including food and drink. As we are limited to 90 people please book early.
