We are extremely proud to share the happy news that Dougie Scarfe, who this year celebrates a decade as Bournemouth Symphony Orchestra’s Chief Executive, has been awarded Orchestra Manager of the Year at the ABO/Classical Music Awards.

The BSO has been resident orchestra at The Grange Festival since our inaugural season in 2017 and play a vital role in creating the high quality performances which put on at The Grange.

They have performed in 18 of our productions and concerts over the last 5 Festivals; accompanying operas, musicals and had a particularly memorable appearance alongside the Marcus Roberts Trio and Wycliffe Gordon performing Gershwin's Rhapshody in Blue last summer.

They will be back this summer, filling our auditorium with their signature majestic sound, in Così fan tutte and The Queen of Spades. See you there?
