Here is a hint of what happened during lockdown with our community opera, The Monster in the Maze. As you will see and hear, singers of all ages came together not only from Hampshire, but also from Longborough Festival Opera and Dutch National Opera. They followed online workshops and learnt a section of the opera at home.

A rather recognisable voice opens and is joined by Yvonne Howard (mezzo-soprano), Xavier Hetherington (tenor), James Longford (piano) and the whole international chorus. Please watch as they bring Jonathan Dove’s opera to life: ‘Out of Darkness into Light’.
