Last September we had no idea how many of you would come to our Valuation Day but come you did, laden with all sorts of interesting things. The valuations team from Olympia Auctions were kept busy all day with items you were curious to know more about and so many of you were delighted with everything you learned about your objects.
The day was such a success that we are doing it all again at The Grange on Wednesday September 21. Are you downsizing, mystified by an object in your house or keen to find out a value? The team from Olympia are there to help without any of the usual valuation fees. There will be specialists in Pictures and Prints, Silver, Jewellery, Ceramics, Indian, Islamic, Himalayan and South East Asian Works of Art, Arms and Armour and Objects of Vertu.
While you are with us you can also enjoy delicious treats in Becka’s café, join tours of this historic house that is rarely open to the public, and explore the landscape around this extraordinary scheduled monument.
If after everything you have learnt you decide to submit any item to a future sale Olympia Auctions are generously donating half of the sale commission fee to The Grange Festival. It is a wonderful way to support the 2023 Festival and all our outreach work in schools at no cost to yourself.
Please join us on 21 September for our very own antiques roadshow at The Grange. There are no parking or admission charges.
