Join us for a private tour of Avington Estate, one of Hampshire's great hidden treasures. We'll roam the estate's grounds, step inside for the orangery and library, and raise a glass together at a drinks reception. Tucked into the Itchen Valley just east of Winchester, this Grade I listed house has a story reaching back centuries: once owned by Winchester Cathedral, later seized by the Crown, and home to kings — Charles II kept his mistress, Nell Gwynne, here after the Bishop of Winchester refused to have her in the cathedral close.
Tickets are £25 and include welcome drinks. Booking opens for Patrons on 10 August at 10am and Members on 17 August at 10am.
This is a Members-only event, and Tickets are limited. Members are entitled to book two tickets per member household.
