A Day at the Opera
Each evening, the park opens two hours prior to the start of the performance, and we encourage you to make the most of this time to immerse yourself fully in the idyllic atmosphere of The Grange.
The Portico Bar
Suspended over the monumental steps, The Portico Bar's beautiful lake views make it the perfect place to begin your evening.
Soak up the atmosphere whilst sipping on some perfectly chilled The Grange, Hampshire English Sparkling Wine which pairs wonderfully with a plate of local smoked trout or Becka's delicious canapés.
The Tea Pavilion
The Tea Pavilion can be found on the Cedar Tree Terrace. Take a seat, relax and indulge in something sweet and delicious. It opens two hours before the performance starts and remains open until the end of the long interval with no need to pre-book your tea and cake.
The Long Interval
When you emerge into the glorious golden-hour light for the 100 minute interval, there is sure to be a dining option which suits your party.
Dinner in the House
For Supper in the House, head into the faded grandeur of the historic mansion for a sumptuous picnic Supper.
Delicious local ingredients exquisitely prepared will await your return from the first half of the performance. When you've had your fill of the savoury course, Becka's team will bring you a selection of sweet treats. Tea and Coffee are available to round off your meal.
Supper in the Park
Arrive at your tent and find everything you need to begin your evening at The Grange. We will provide you with champagne flutes and highball glasses for your pre-performance entertaining. Why not pre-order canapés and a bottle of fizz?
While you enjoy the first half of the performance, we will set out your picnic in gorgeous bowls and platters so that everything looks beautiful ready for the interval. As you return to the theatre for the second half of the performance, we will clear everything away ensuring a blissfully stress-free evening from start to finish.
Inside the House
For Art@TheGrange 2021 we are delighted to be partnering with Messums Wiltshire
Messums Wiltshire is a leading multi-purpose gallery and arts centre. It offers artists and collectors a unique environment to experience and engage with creative endeavour. From the position that artistic expression started in our distant past, it provides the opportunity to reflect on the significance of the handmade across multiple art forms.
The Festival Shop
Make time to browse the Festival Shop and it’s wonderful selection of gifts, clothes, books and art. Each piece is carefully selected or exclusively made for The Grange Festival. Here you can also purchase The Grange, Hampshire English Sparkling Wine to take home and continue the celebrations.
The shop is open two hours before the performance and during the long interval.
